Part-Time Reentry Program Facilitator – Women & Non-Binary Drop-In Center

Job Summary: 

The Reentry Program Facilitator supports women and non-binary individuals reentering the community after incarceration by leading recovery-based programming, offering individualized emotional and peer support, and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment. This role embraces a holistic view of recovery—recognizing the interconnectedness of mental health, substance use, trauma, and social reintegration—and is ideal for someone passionate about empowerment, healing, and social justice. 

Position Type & Schedule: 

This is a part-time, hourly position with flexible evening hours. Preferred hours are Monday – Friday, between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Wednesday availability is required.  

Key Responsibilities: 

Program Facilitation: 

  • Lead and develop group sessions focused on recovery, life skills, wellness, and personal growth. 
  • Coordinate peer-led groups, guest speakers, and community-based workshops that reflect a whole-person approach to healing. 

Individual Support: 

  • Provide one-on-one support to participants, offering a consistent, compassionate presence as they navigate recovery and reentry. 
  • Assist participants in identifying personal goals, building self-efficacy, and developing coping strategies. 
  • Maintain accurate and confidential notes on participant interactions using our database Munission. 
  • Collaborate with the Site Coordinator as needed to ensure participants are connected to appropriate external resources. 

Participant Engagement: 

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all women and non-binary individuals accessing the center. 
  • Encourage consistent participation and provide follow-up support as needed. 
  • Track attendance at groups and support sessions. 

Other Duties: 

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall mission and daily operations of the center. 
  • Any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience facilitating groups in a recovery setting is required. 
  • Experience working with justice-involved individuals, particularly women and non-binary people. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and peer support. 
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and reentry challenges. 
  • Commitment to a holistic, person-centered approach to recovery and wellness. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. 
  • Bilingual skills a plus. 
  • Certified Recovery Coach a plus. 
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings: CORI, and drug screen

Reports to: Director of Residential Services

Expected Compensation: $20 – $23 per hour

The listed pay range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
