Mission Statement
The mission of Link House, Inc. is to provide guidance, tools, and support to improve the emotional well-being of the individuals we serve.
Link House, Inc. is a 503(c) non-profit organization that has been providing residential substance use services in the North Shore communities for the past 50 years. Over the decades, we have helped more than 6,500 individuals improve their lives and take positive steps towards living sober, independent and productive lives.
The organization was originally created by a group of concerned citizens who saw a need to establish a local substance-use program to assist men who were struggling with addiction to alcohol. Since our inception in 1972, we have continued to meet the growing need for these services in our communities by adding additional programs for both men and women with addictions to substance use. We recently added a Center for Behavioral Health & Addiction Treatment Services and a sober house for women.
Additionally, we have expanded our reach to partner with many community stakeholders, non-profit organizations, government agencies and treatment providers. These partnerships are in response to growing needs in our community. We rely heavily on public funding, donations, and community partnerships to help us continue to offer our clients the best chance at success.
A full-time executive team and a volunteer Board of Directors lead the organization.
We currently have programs located in the communities of Amesbury, Newburyport and Salisbury.
The mission of Link House, Inc. is to provide guidance, tools, and support to improve the emotional well-being of the individuals we serve.
Our goal each day is to provide compassionate, evidenced-based models of substance use services to our clients and communities with a spirit of honesty, strong moral values and a sense of trustworthiness that occurs throughout all levels of the organization.
We are keenly aware of the importance of this organization to the community and as such, we feel a strong responsibility to prudently and wisely administer and manage all human and financial resources and proactively maintain the properties owned by the organization.
We look forward to building upon our 50 years of operation experience to continually assess the need and opportunity for thoughtful program expansion that compliments the existing level of services while fulfilling the growing needs within our community.
