COVID-19 Response

I am writing to you with an update about Link House Inc.’s (LHI) activities and operations as the Commonwealth moves into Phase 3 of reopening businesses. We are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID 19 updates both at the state and federal level. As the situation changes daily, our top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, residents, and patients.

LHI continues to practice measures outlined by the CDC, in addition to elevating cleaning and sanitizing practices, and are closely monitoring visitation in each of the five residential programs, The Elms and Progress House in Amesbury, Link House, the Women’s Independent Sober Housing in Newburyport (WISH), and the Maris Center for Women in Salisbury. The programs remain open and currently serving residents at this time.

The Center for Behavioral Health & Addiction Services (CBHATS) in Amesbury remains open virtually and is accepting new patients for therapy and psychopharm medications via Telehealth (phone/live video).

Telehealth is the preferred treatment modality when individuals have limited ability to leave one’s house, and allows for HIPPA compliant screening, triage, and treatment regardless of limitations related to evolving pandemic. Call 978.834.6583 or email CBHATS@linkhouseinc.org. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!

These are unprecedented times in the Commonwealth, our country, and the world. Thank you in advance for your support and flexibility. Together we will move through these uncharted waters, continue to honor those impacted by addiction, and offer hope to individuals and families on their recovery journey.

In partnership and gratitude,

Gary Gastman, PhD
Executive Director
