This Facilities/Property Manager will provide minor repairs and maintenance to the Link House owned facilities on an as needed basis. They are also responsible for overseeing outsourced maintenance services, and general maintenance at the Outpatient Services Clinics.
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect all facilities for needed services and maintenance.
- Staying up to date on, and coordinating building inspections, replacing fire extinguishers, etc
- Maintain building interiors and exteriors.
- Perform minor repair of all buildings and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on boilers, furnaces, and HVAC units
- Maintain appliances including stoves, refrigerators, and dishwashers.
- Minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Main point of contact with anything outsourced with towns / municipal agencies
- Receiving and coordinating multiple quotes for projects
- Floor maintenance and repair.
- Minor repairs on resident room furniture.
- Replace broken windows and screens; repair doors, door locks; clean cutters; install window blinds.
- Maintain landscaping and grounds.
- Oversees snow removal operations, including plowing and shoveling; performs snow removal duties as needed or coordinates and manages outside contractors
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
- On call responsibilities for one-offs overnight and over weekend – availability to answer call/texts and outsource when unavailable
- Secure, supervise, and maintain working relationships with any external contractors that are hired for specialized jobs.
- Any other duties deemed appropriate and necessary by Link House Inc.
Supervisory / Management: No direct supervisory responsibilities of staff. Oversight of external contractors as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- A working knowledge of building repair and carpentry with some knowledge in minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with other employees.
- High school diploma is preferred, and previous maintenance experience is required.
- At the discretion of the Link House management, qualifying criteria may be waived in whole or part where and when deemed appropriate.
Environment and Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to 100 pounds.
- Must wear standard PPE when appropriate
- Able to balance while ascending/descending ladders using safety procedures
- Able to adjust to changing demands and environments quickly
- A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required; travel by vehicle is required.
- This position requires up to 90% local travel.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in outside weather conditions.

Expected Compensation: $25 – $30 per hour
