Link House

Our original and namesake program, the Link House, is a highly structured, intensive residential treatment program for 20 men who are living in sobriety. Link House residents contract to abstain from all drug and alcohol use and addictive behaviors, attend appropriate 12-step meetings and participate fully in all additional aspects of treatment. Most residents complete the program in six months, but some may stay longer if needed. Residents focus exclusively on recovery for the initial five months, with a full, daily schedule of individual and group counseling provided onsite, and attend therapeutic, medical and legal appointments in the community. Residents are encouraged to fully integrate into the area through community service. After five months at the Link House, clients may seek employment, saving toward their next steps following completion of the program. Link House provides 24-hour supervision for residents.

Link House offers double occupancy rooms, a shared kitchen, a living/community room, laundry, shared restrooms and a computer lab. Residents share the responsibilities associated with cleaning the facility.

Located in the heart of downtown Newburyport, Link House is within walking distance to stores, shops, hospital and medical offices, houses of worship, YWCA and numerous parks with river beach access.

Link House is licensed and partially funded through the Massachusetts Department of Public Health-Bureau of Substance Abuse Services.
