Michele Novello

Biography

Michele joined the Link House board in Spring 2021.  She has been a family nurse practitioner in Newburyport for more than 23 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Salem State University and her Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Michele worked in a large urban hospital and in community health care, including Home Health VNA of Merrimack Valley, for several years. She has been a religious education instructor, girl scout leader, provided career shadowing opportunities for high school students as well as provided clinical preceptorships for undergraduate and graduate students.  She has been on the front line as a medical care provider for patients and their families impacted by substance use disorders.
