
Robert A. Dignan, Jr.
Biography
Bob Dignan is an attorney practicing real estate law in Newburyport. He earned his degree of Juris Doctor from Massachusetts School of Law at Andover, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Merrimack College, where he earned membership in the national history honor society, Phi Alpha Theta. Bob lives with his wife and son in Amesbury, where he coached youth baseball for several years.
He has volunteered as a conductor for twelve years on the Immaculate Conception School North Pole Express, and also served as cubmaster and scoutmaster with Newburyport Pack and Troop 451, as well the board of directors of the Northern Light District, Yankee Clipper Council, and Boy Scouts of America.
Bob also serves on the board of directors of the Newburyport Maritime Society and as chairman of the Custom House Maritime Museum’s Programs and Exhibits Committee.
