Job Responsibilities:
- Completion of intake and assessments to determine appropriate level of care
- Collaboration with collaterals, family, and other community supports
- Completion of individual treatment plan
- Ability to develop and facilitate group treatment
- Ongoing individual and family counseling
- Crisis intervention and support as needed
- Harm reduction and recovery/safety planning as needed
- Referrals to outside resources/services
- Insurance authorizations and extensions as needed
Job Requirements:
- An APRN degree in related field with license (PMHNP or FMHNP)
- Knowledge of insurance billing
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders required
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care
- Familiarity with Electronic health Records
Flexible schedule (evenings and/or Saturday mornings required)
Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to:
- 10 intake evaluations per week
- 50 Follow up medical appointments per week
- Lead 2 trainings per year (may be virtual)
- Representing the clinic at community meetings, speaking events as required
- Full compliance with EMR
- Coordinate MDT review with therapist and contracted psychiatrist
- Current licenses and certifications to be current, and valid. Includes DEA registration, and Psychiatric Mental health NP Certification.
