Case Manager (Women’s Program)

This is a full-time position designed to provide Case Management and support for the residents of The Maris Center.

The Case Manager reports directly to the Director of Women’s Services.

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assessment interviews, intake, and orientation of prospective residents.
  • Responsible for all clinical treatment issues, including scheduling initial individual counseling appointments for Residents from appropriate referral sources at intake.
  • Work with Residents to develop individual treatment plan.
  • Provide bi-weekly case management, support and guidance to help the residents achieve the goals set in their individual treatment plan.
  • Keep a daily log and document each case management in the appropriate format.
  • Develop positive supportive relationships with the residents.
  • Provide referrals and assist with access to resources in the community.
  • Facilitate treatment protocol with groups and meetings with residents.
  • Work closely with Parole, Probation, and Bracelet programs in a collaborative effort between our program and Criminal Justice agencies.
  • Report to Program Director any pertinent information regarding the residents.
  • Responsible for resident house issues in absence of Program Director.
  • Input ESM resident admissions and discharges into Virtual Gateway.
  • Facilitate bi-monthly resident House meetings.
  • After hours on call responsibility for two weeks at a time.
  • Abide by all DPH Guidelines and Federal Regulations on confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs and Client records.
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate and necessary by Link House Inc.

Supervisory / Management: No supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Formal education, training and/or life experience in human services and a working knowledge of addiction and recovery issues.
  • Experience as Counselor/Case Manager preferred.
  • Associates degree preferred or two years of equivalent formal training in treatment facility or related work experience.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings: CORI, and drug screen
  • At the discretion of the Link House, Inc. management, qualifying criteria may be waived in whole or part where and when deemed appropriate.

Environment and Physical Requirements

  • This position operates in a residential setting.
  • Regularly required to sit, walk and stand
  • Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone;
  • Reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
